Tonya Zlock · Founder

Tonya Zlock entered the insurance industry in 2015, initially alongside graduate school. What began as a practical decision became a professional calling — shaped by a recurring observation: most people were navigating significant insurance decisions without anyone truly advocating for them.

By 2018, Z Insurance Brokerage had grown into her full-time practice. The independent model was a deliberate choice. Independence means the freedom to evaluate options across the market, give honest recommendations, and prioritize the client’s interests — not a carrier’s.

What clients consistently point to is the time she takes — and the fact that she is still reachable after enrollment. Helping clients understand how their coverage works, navigating claims questions, and working through complex situations is central to how the brokerage operates, not an exception to it.

She has a particular focus on employer group benefits — partnering with businesses to build benefits programs that support employee recruitment and retention while remaining financially sustainable for the organization.
